Hamburg – Since January 1st 2016 Axel Springer Auto Verlag GmbH is the majority shareholder of infoRoad GmbH. infoRoad GmbH runs a website and a mobile app for iOS and Android under the brand of clever-tanken.de, a consumer information service. With clever-tanken.de, current gasoline prices in different gas stations can be independently compared. With 13.5 million visits per month (stationary and mobile internet, source: IVW/ Google Analytics November 2015) clever-tanken.de is the market leader and multiple award winner in the field of mobile service apps for drivers. The AUTO BILD group and clever-tanken.de have been successfully working together since 2014.
Since 1999 clever-tanken.de offers gasoline price and service comparisons of gas stations in Germany. clever-tanken.de is one of the first consumer information services, which is registered at the market transparency unit for fuels at the German Cartel Office since 2013, and thereby ensures the informational actuality. In addition to the current data, a radius search and the opportunity to set up a price alert is what constitutes the value of clever-tanken.de. Many B2B customers in the automotive sector use the data of clever-tanken.de for their own special offers.
