Carlsquare continuous its growth path and wins another M[&]A professional for the office in Munich. Nico Schmidt-Weidemann will join as director to help build the national and international business of Carlsquare.
Nico Schmidt-Weidemann, a senior mid-market M[&]A investment banking specialist, brings extensive experience in national and international M[&]A and Private Equity transactions, to his role at Carlsquare. Prior to joining Carlsquare, Mr Schmidt-Weidemann worked for CMC Consulting in Munich and spent 8 years with BPCE banking group in New York, Paris and Frankfurt, advising on various buy- and sell-side transactions. He has specific sector expertise in FMCG, Automotive, MedTech and Life Sciences.
Recently, Mr. Schmidt-Weidemann has assisted DY Affluent Fund in its acquisition of BCG Baden-Baden Cosmetics Group. Besides various private equity transactions, he also advised the shareholders of Hofmeister [&] Meincke GmbH [&] Co. KG in the sale to Fricke Group.
