Hamburg – Bochum – Hamburg – May, 2016 – The PPS. Imaging GmbH acquires a majority stake in Niggemeyer Bildproduktion GmbH [&] Co. KG, located in Bochum. The two known players in the digital print market will now on commonly drive the possibilities of the industry and continue to set market standards.
Starting from May there will be significant changes in the owners structure of Niggemeyer. After 25 years of employment, Peter Schütte will leave the company. His stake will be taken over by PPS. Imaging GmbH. At the same time Michael Krieger joins the management board. Roland Niggemeyer will continue as shareholder and managing director with the operating business in Bochum. The goal is, to position Bochum as modern and technological leading in the large-format textile printing segment and to address new customers with further products in a wide set up distribution in the XXL print market.
“With its competence in textile printing, Niggemeyer is the ideal supplement for us”, stated Michael Krieger. “Thanks to the merger, we can successfully utilize synergies and strengthen the segment of large-format textile printing within the PPS. Imaging Group.“
Roland Niggemeyer is also looking forward to the future collaboration. “With PPS. Group we join in an extensive network and strengthen our market position. Furthermore, we will benefit from an extended production volume in the sectors of voluminous flat bed printing and display and packaging.
