Carlsquare advises EgoSecure, a leading provider of endpoint security software, on its acquisition by Matrix42. Matrix42 acquires the majority of ownership from InfoWatch, a group of integrated security assurance companies. EgoSecure, headquartered in Ettlingen near Karlsruhe, Germany, has specialized in the protection of end devices and data for more than ten years. EgoSecure is an established software provider in the German-speaking and European market with over 2,000 customers and for many years a technology partner of Matrix42. CatCap advised the shareholders of EgoSecure on the sale after Carlsquare already assisted EgoSecure in 2011 with the investment by Infowatch.
